Based on the television series, Reno 911!, this faux documentary features the brave men and women of the Washoe County Sheriff’s Department – the thin khaki line that keeps Reno, Nevada on the straight and narrow – in their first feature film.

The deputies of the Reno’s Sheriff’s Department, led by Lt Jim Dangle (Thomas Lennon), attend a law enforcement convention in Miami Beach where the motley crew is charged with protecting the city after bio-terrorists attack the convention, resulting in all the other visiting cops being quarantined.

Not only does the team of misfits have to deal with the terrorist crisis, but anything else that arises in the city, including the activities of drug lord, Ethan (Paul Rudd), a beached whale and the often bizarre interplay within Dangle’s gormless group of deputies.
