The sun is dying, and mankind is dying with it. Our last hope: a spaceship and a crew of eight men and women. They carry a device, which will breathe new life into the star. But deep into their voyage, out of radio contact with Earth, their mission is starting to unravel. Soon the crew are fighting not only for their lives, but their sanity.

Sunshine once again pairs director, Danny Boyle, with writer, Alex Garland, and producer, Andrew Macdonald, who previously teamed up for the thinking person’s zombie film, 28 Days Later.

how exciting! an unmanned mission movie! needs the human elemnt so we can attach ourselves to the characters. it's about making a movie for entertainment, not making perfect logical sense. bethanie on 10/05/2007 at 10:41:24 PM

Danny Boyle is right up there with Ridley Scotts ALIEN. Sci-fi doen't have to be about laser cannons and evil aliens. gf dragged me to watch it. not my type of movie. felt bored in most part of the movies and lost. Well done special effect. Good mixed of casts, few Asians. Choose other movie moviegoers!!!! skip this one. tomovsky on 25/04/2007 at 2:33:05 PM
