I like star wars and I thought this movie would be ok so I brought my hubby- a real Star Wars fan, to see it. We were both so bored we almost walked out. Definately the worst movie I have seen this year. No passion. Waste of money. And it takes a lot for me not to like a movie- I am a movie addict. But this one sucked. Being a die-hard Star Wars fan i thought the new animated one would be really weak; but i thoroughly enjoyed it!!! It's got stacks of action and i loved the classic star wars humour. Fantastic story, it's sort of like a computer game (but heaps better). If you loved the previous star wars trilogies this is a must see! Old School Wars Fan - I was 10 or 11 when the first Star Wars movie was released. Yup, do the math ... taking my son to see this over the weekend. Really wish it was with 'humans' but if it brings yet another generation to the Star Wars Cult - then that's ok by me! Wish I had shares ... Unlike Harry Potter, Star Wars has 'regressed' to suit it younger fans whereas Potter has grown up with its original viewers. I am yet another Star Wars fan. I think this movie is a great idea. My 7 year old is also becoming a huge Star Wars fan - thanks to Clone Wars. The "real life" movies are just a little too ralistic to be introducing him to at this stage but when he is old enough I see quite a few Star Wars movie nights in our future. And I was so upset to discover just recently that they've remastered the end of my DVD "Return of the Jedi" to show Hayden's ghost in the end along with Yoda and Obi-Wan. The "real" characters (like Obi Wan and Anakin) look very cartoony, whereas the alien characters have more detailed character models - with far superior skin, hair, shading and rendering. Only first and foremost yes it was a smart comment bartman because you realised that the CLONE WARS was animated an by the CARTOON NETWORK and that it was something different. Hollywood: you are mistaken - clone wars has already existed as a TV series and was available before the release of revenge of the sith, and therefore Bartman has not made a smart comment yet - as this is not a new turn in the star wars series. Also, to use the word series correctly there must be continuity, and the star wars "episodes" jump back and fowards in time without proper continuity, and therefore has not been an actual series since Phantom Menace came out - as the first 3 films were the only ones to be released in a "series".
