I thought it was good movie..But its totaly over-rated.. Everyone went crazy about the movie release.. Like its amazing or something. fantastic,can't wait to see it again and I'm an oldie (43). great performances by the 6 male leads and superb production values and an intelligent and eloquent screenlay and excellent special effects make this a 10/10. Hope Heath gets an oscar nomination. tragically the obviously demanding role and numerous night scenes could have easily contributed to his destabilisation and untimely death.

A fantastic movie with heaps a action. Heath Leadger was absolutely hilourious in it - his best performance. Perhaps a bit too long but still worth seeing many times

Best performance goes to Heath, best movie ever!!!!!!!!!!. Action all the way through, there is no boring bits at all. I recommend to sit in the first or second row, you get the full blast of it! I could really not find a flaw in this movie. 2 1/2 hours (although long) did the movie justice for the correct balance of both love triangles and action.i am going to see it for a 2nd time tonight. worth every dollar

The Dark Knight is good, no joke!!This lives up to the hype and is 2.5 hours of action and plot twists.The story is about Batman trying to battle the new bad guy “The joker” played by Heath Ledger.The Joker is a great character with a very dark sense of humor and does his best to put Gotham city in turmoil which is “all part of the plan”.There are some new cool batman gadgets in the movie and also more than just the one baddie.It felt like it was the end of the movie in a few parts but then carried on to my delight.I do think they have left it open for a sequel though the Joker shall not appear on it as the directors have decided to write him out of the next movie in respect to Heath Ledger.One recommendation I would say though is keep your beverages to a minimum during the movie as when I got to the ¾ mark I really needed to go!!The movie industry deserved a better class of criminal and the joker delivered.A great movie for both the guys and the girls. the real carlos on 20/07/2008 at 8:48:17 PM

This has become one of my all time favourite movies, and for good reason. Brilliant acting on all parts and Ledger embodied the Joker so well, the laugh, the insane little manerisms add to the overall convincing character that is Joker. I dont think anyone can ever surpass it. Such an excellent actor, and very deserving of an Oscar at the very least. Great movie. JUST got home from seeing it. I totally agree with Neo2109 - this movie meets up to expectations. Heath Ledger's portrayal of a maniac was unbelievable. He makes Australia proud. It was a great movie, everyone was excellent. Heath was so scary and funny at the same time. He did a really good job. All the cast had excellent roles. Visualy the movie was so outstanding. This has become one of my all time favourite movies, and for good reason. Brilliant acting on all parts and Ledger embodied the Joker so well, the laugh, the insane little manerisms add to the overall convincing character that is Joker. I dont think anyone can ever surpass it. Such an excellent actor, and very deserving of an Oscar at the very least. The best movie i can remember. I'm a huge Batman fan and i've watched every movie and this by far is the best yet. saw it today with a bunch of friends. very very nice.. as already stated. it does live up to its expectations. Heath Ledger was breathtakingly wonderful in this. 10/10

Our caped crusader returns in an action packed sequel though the movie undoubtedly belongs to Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker, two thumbs up from me for the Oscar nod! This is a superhero movie for the intellect as it requires a deep understanding of the corrupt Gotham world in which the movie takes place, thus I highly recommend that you watch the animated feature prequel to this movie, 'Batman - Gotham Knight' prior to seeing this as it sets up the movie brilliantly.
