Loved it. They didn't try to make Harrison Ford out as a younger person like in his previous films, but gave him scope to be an older Indy. Thought Cate Blanchett played the baddy well. despite what people say; i liked it. But of course, it was nothing compared to the 3rd. i thought Shia LaBeouf was good and so was Harrison Ford, but Cate Blancett was terrible. This movie is worth a look. Some people have not approved but i say see it before you take the opinion of others. That said here is my opinion. IJ4 was true to the theme of what IJ is all about, unbelievable stunts, crazy action, and corny humour (that whole audience laugh). The story arc made sense to me and demonstrated the tradition and growth that a franchise needs, a tough goal to reach. Loved the nuke!!! 9/10 for special effects. The plot was confusing indeed. And why would someone build a storage facility in the same place they test the weapons?! You can sit through this movie, there are parts of it which are amusing. That said, this fourth movie is a terrible end piece to what was a very good original trilogy. The special effects are over used and corny. The little plot that there is, is filled with cliche and old tired ideas. AnAn Epic this is not. From the completely unbelievable situations and undeveloped plot, this definitely did not leave me wanting more. From names like Spielberg and Lucas you would expect a classic, but this was over directed and left you cringing with implausible disbelief. The two hours could not come to an end soon enough. It is obvious they ran out of ideas for a story line in this film. Entertaining with the action and special effects but that is about it. The ending also spoils the already lacking plot.
